MDR-M1 Experience With Ben Goldsmith

In partnership with Sony Electronics, Ben and Peter will be recording a new song live at the Sony Pictures Lot in Culver City on October 15th, and guests are invited to be in the studio with them!
This immersive studio experience will give attendees a close look into how a song is recorded and see in-real-time Ben and his team put the final touches on a brand-new track. This will be an interactive experience, where guests will be guided through the music making process, go hands on with the technology used, and ask questions throughout the process.
More about Ben: Free Flight Records artist Ben Goldsmith is Long Island-born-and-bred but currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. Named an Artist to Watch by The Hollywood Reporter and Nashville Briefing, Goldsmith recently released his sophomore album, The Start of Something Beautiful. Spanning heartbreak rockers, coming-of-age anthems, first love swooners, and more, the album highlights Goldsmith’s once-in-a-generation musicianship and songwriting as the 18-year-old has writing credits on every track and produced nearly half the record. A prodigious talent and dynamic performer, the multi-instrumentalist also plays guitar, piano, lap steel, organ, mellotron, and bass throughout the project. Having hit major festivals such as Bonnaroo and touring this summer with Australia trio Sons of the East, Goldsmith is already hard at work at his next batch of music.
